What to include

A drayage quote depends on where the container is, where it's going, and what's inside it. These details help us price it right the first time:

• Port and terminal. Houston (Bayport or Barbours Cut), Oakland (OICT, TraPac or Everport), or Los Angeles/Long Beach.
• Delivery ZIP, or the loading ZIP for an export.
• Container size and count. 20', 40', 40' high cube or 45'.
• Cargo weight. Heavy boxes may need a tri-axle chassis.
• Import or export. For exports, add the booking, vessel, ERD and cutoff if you have them.
• Live unload or drop at your dock.
• Dates. Vessel ETA, last free day, or when you need the box.

Special cargo

Tell us up front if any of these apply. They change the equipment, the driver or the paperwork:

• Hazmat: UN number, class and packing group.
• Reefer: set point, and whether you need a genset for the whole trip.
• Overweight: cargo weight per container.

Need storage or transload?

If your dock can't take the box before the last free day, or the cargo needs to go onto a trailer, choose Warehouse or Transload as the service. See warehouse in Houston and Oakland, and transload in Houston and Oakland.
